Main Services The Plant Profiler

Our unique on-line facility that is used for:

• Navigating round planting plans instantly bringing on screen photos and brief information.
• Also brilliant if you are making up your own planting plan – sourcing ideas from the list of plants and trees etc. we use for our low maintenance schemes.
• A pruning guide and a “when to do it” pruning calendar.

How It Works

• Navigating round our planting plans.
• All of the plants and trees we use in schemes have been allocated a number. These numbers have all been set out in a grid form – the Plant Profiler.
• Pick a plant from your plan and click it’s number on the Plant Profiler. It’s photo and brief details are brought on screen.
• The example shown is of Choisya ‘Aztec Pearl’. You will see the plant’s details under the photo.
• Click on the red pruning codes and brief pruning instructions will be brought up.

• Making up your own Planting Plan.
• The Profiler has an A-Z list of our plant selection divided into groups (Shrubs – Perennials & Grasses – Conifers – Trees etc.) and gives their Profiler numbers.
• A list of common names with their botanical name equivalents helps selection.
• To bring your choice of plant on screen just click on it’s number.

• A Pruning Guide
• This is done in conjunction with our on-line Pruning Guide.
• The guide divides pruning procedures into various groups and gives each group a code.
• These codes are marked red in the plant’s details on the Profiler.
• If you cannot remember the instructions for a particular code, they can be brought on screen by clicking on the code. Try clicking on our example.
• A pruning calendar also tells you what plants need possible attention during any particular month.
