We believe that you wont find better quality plants at lower prices. If you think you can then we would like to hear from you.

The Design

We take great pains to find out exactly what you want from your garden before starting the design.

We then use our flair and expertise to produce for you a design that will be:-

  • beautiful
  • to a style you will like
  • workable
  • within your capabilities to construct or organise
  • affordable

If however there is part of the completed design that does not fit the bill then we will rejig that part for you.

The Plants

We pride ourselves in being able to source the best quality plants and trees for our customers. Many of the plants are grown specifically for Wizard with the remainder being sourced from reputable growers – these same growers who supply the garden centres you would otherwise be using – at double the prices!

The plants are grown in 2 or 3 litre pots using only growing mediums from reliable sources. The trees are pot grown with the same care and attention. As there is always a time lag between the date we give you a planting plan and the date deliver the plants the exact variety we have suggested may not be available for the odd plant. In this case we will give you a suitable substitution (which unless we mentioned it you would not have noticed!)

As we have no control over the plants once they have arrived at your house we cannot give them a general guarantee.

But we can guarantee that our plant people put great effort into producing only the very best and healthiest plants. Do not forget that deciduous plants received outside of their growing season can look pretty dead and stick like. They will perk up and burst into leaf as the summer approaches.

Low maintenance planting schemes – what do we mean?

  • We have taken this to mean a selection of plants and trees both evergreen and deciduous that create as little work as possible to keep them in good order.
  • Absolute low maintenance is 100% hard landscaping. However, once you have decided on, for example, a lawn and shrubberies, you have created yourself work to maintain them.
  • The trick is to design the garden so that the minimum amount of soft landscaping together with the type of planting chosen, gives the maximum amount of colour and texture.
