Standing stones have long been part of the human subconscious. As well as bringing with them a sense of mystery they are ideal to focus attention on their part of the garden.

These stones can be set onto an area spread with shingle, gravel or ornamental stone. Click here to see the choice of aggregate and stone we have available.
Standing stones can be used singly or with other smaller standing stones of the same type. Alternatively, other shaped stones that are much shorter and, perhaps, wider than your chosen standing stone can also be used.
The Purple Schist stone in the photo (right) is set in Cotswold aggregate but it would also look good with blue slate or even your local shingle.
The ‘slate’ and the ‘green slate’ standing stones would both look good with slate shale or, perhaps, one of the whiter aggregates for a really contemporary look.
